Why this tool

405NM OF TORQUE: This is the number that decides whether a seized nut comes loose or you stand there straining on a spanner. Rust and over-tightening can easily double the force it takes to break a fastener free again, so headroom here is what makes the difference on the jobs that actually go wrong.
½” SQUARE DRIVE (WITH ¼” HEX FEMALE SOCKET): The standard size, so ordinary impact sockets from any shop fit straight on. You are never hunting for a special adapter.
3000 IPM: An impact wrench works by hammering round rather than pushing steadily, which is how it breaks rust loose without twisting your wrist. More blows per minute means the nut moves sooner.
2800 RPM: Fast enough to run a long bolt all the way out once it is loose, instead of you finishing the last twenty turns by hand. Speed on its own means little - it is speed held under load that decides whether the tool cuts or stalls.

The Golden Bullet CIW-2145 is a 20V brushless cordless impact wrench with 405Nm of torque, 2800 RPM and 3000 impacts per minute - enough to break loose rusted wheel nuts, engine and chassis bolts that a spanner will not shift. The 1/2 inch square drive (with a 1/4 inch hex female socket) takes standard impact sockets and hex bits, so one tool handles nuts and screws.
